Our staff will only attend viewings if they feel 100% symptom-free and ask the same of any potential applicants.

As the COVID-19 crisis continues, we would like to reassure customers of the steps we are taking to maintain levels of service, while keeping both you and our staff safe during this unprecedented time.
Below are answers to the questions we’ve been asked on how we plan to operate over the coming weeks and months.
The situation is moving rapidly, we will continue to adhere to the advice provided by the government on a daily basis, and we will add to this page as the situation changes.
For up-to-date information regarding the national response to the virus, please visit the gov.uk
At the moment, our team continues to work from our offices in the usual way. However, our staff will not come to work if they or their family members have any symptoms of Coronavirus
or have come into contact with anyone who has symptoms. We have sufficient staff members to cover for any short term absences of this kind.
Please continue to contact us as normal by calling or emailing we will be able to assist with any queries or issues you have.
How will you look after managed properties?
We work with multiple contractors. This means that we have people to draw on if our regular contractors are unable to take on a particular job. Please continue to contact us as soon as possible with any repair issues. We will have to prioritise jobs in order of importance should the need arise.
What happens if a tenant can't pay rent - due to losing their job, for example?
Please talk to us as soon as possible so we can plan a way forward. We would ask our landlords to be patient in these difficult times. The Government is also offering advice and support and we are confident that we will get through this together.
Should landlords consider rent guarantee insurance?
We can recommend some insurance companies, but they may not accept new policies in the current climate or their current policies may not even pay-out in this case. The most important thing is to keep a good relationship and open communication with your tenants, so that you are aware of any issues at an early stage.
Can landlords claim a reduction in mortgage payments if tenants can’t pay the rent?
The Government has announced that banks are allowing many landlords to take a payment holiday. It is best to check with your mortgage provider about your individual case.
What are your predictions for the rental market over the next 3-6 months?
Currently, we would expect demand to decrease, but in this ever-changing environment we cannot be certain at this stage.
How will your team manage viewings in a safe way?
Our staff will only attend viewings if they feel 100% symptom-free. They will wash and use alcohol gel on their hands before and after each viewing and ask the same of any potential applicants. We are also able to accommodate virtual viewings via Facetime or video recordings, please contact us if you feel this could be of benefit to you.
Will you still be doing property valuations? If so, how?
Yes, we will take the same precautions as for viewings mentioned above.
Is now a good time to put my property on the market?
If you need to sell your property quickly, we can give you the best advice about pricing, timing and presentation. There are still people looking so do contact us as soon as possible.
What do you think will be the impact on the sales market in the next 3-6 months?
We expect that there will be an immediate impact on turnover but think prices will hold with perhaps a small correction. Interest rates are at the lowest level in history so there's no need for most vendors to panic.
Will there be a knock-on effect on house prices?
As per the above question however this is an ever-changing environment and we will give you our thoughts and advice whenever needed.
In the event of a government shutdown we will ensure that our staff are able to work remotely from home and will endeavour to deal with as much as possible out of office but we ask everyone to bear with us and we will return to normal as soon as it is possible.
